Toulouse Saint-Sernin Basilica apse poster

Toulouse poster, the apse of the Saint-Sernin Basilica

The radiating chapels of the Saint-Sernin Basilica rise in tiers of pink brick up to the octagonal bell tower and its slender spire. On the cobbled square, 2 elderly passersby stroll near a streetlamp in the warm light of late afternoon. This Toulouse poster pays tribute to one of the city’s great Romanesque buildings, seen from its apse. Brick pink, ochre and a violet-blue sky create a warm palette. The title “Toulouse” accompanies the scene.

Saint-Sernin in pink brick for an entryway or living room

Its pinks and ochres suit an entryway, a living room, a home office or a dining room. They pair with brick, terracotta, dark wood and plum or violet-blue textiles that echo the color of the sky. Its vertical composition shows off a narrow wall or the space between 2 windows. It can be paired with the La Grave dome poster for a Toulouse duo. A gift for someone from Toulouse, a student who lived in the Pink City or a lover of Romanesque architecture.
