Le Rhône poster, barge in front of the Avignon bridge

Wide and peaceful, the Rhône carries a long barge that glides slowly across its waters. Vineyards stretch along the right bank, a tall poplar stands in the left foreground, and the old stone bridge of Avignon spans the river under a luminous Provence sky. The blues of the river, the greens of the vines and the poplar and the pale stone of the bridge make up a soft, Southern scene. This Rhône poster bears the title “LE RHÔNE”.
