Garden flowers botanical plate poster

Botanical plate poster of garden flowers, “GARDEN PLATE”

Composed like a botanical plate, this poster gathers the flowers of the garden: roses, poppies, daisies and cornflowers. Each flower is detailed in crisp flat colors, with petals, stems and leaves set against a blue lake, rolling hills and a village of orange rooftops. The red of the poppies, the pink of the roses, the blue of the cornflowers and the white of the daisies stand out with delicate charm. The whole, in a vertical format, recalls the illustrated herbaria once consulted to identify plants. The title “GARDEN PLATE” names this plate devoted to the garden.

A flower plate for the study or the library

Delicate and precise, it fits right into a study, a library, a bedroom, a kitchen or an entryway. Its soft colors, the blue of the sky and the lake, the green of the leaves and the cream of the margins, pair well with wood, brass, linen, old books and cream or sage green walls. Its vertical format lends itself to gallery-style groupings with other botanical plates. It makes an easy gift for a gardener, a botany enthusiast, a natural sciences student or a friend who loves wildflowers.
