Humpback whale diving with raised tail poster

Diving humpback whale poster, “DEEP BLUE”

In the open ocean, a humpback whale raises its great tail fluke above the waves, just before vanishing into the depths. This whale poster captures the exact instant of the dive, when only the tail remains visible. The intense blues of the sea fill the image, and the foam of the waves echoes the dark silhouette of the whale. No boat, no coastline: the animal and the ocean are enough. The vertical composition accentuates the tail’s upward sweep toward the sky. The title “DEEP BLUE” evokes the vast open sea.

A deep blue for the bathroom or bedroom

Dominated by blues, with a touch of golden yellow and a pale sun on the horizon, it soothes a bedroom, a bathroom, an office or a hallway. It stands out on a white wall and pairs well with driftwood, linen, white ceramic and navy textiles. It can join other marine or ocean animal posters for a cohesive wall. It makes a gift for a diver, a marine biologist, a sea lover or a child fascinated by whales, for a birthday or a new arrival alike.
