Laundry day white linens drying in the sun poster

White sheets on the clothesline poster, “LAUNDRY DAY”

In a sunny courtyard, a woman hangs laundry on a long line stretched between 2 posts: a yellow dress, a coral dress, a green skirt and large white sheets. One of the sheets billows in the wind like a sail. At the foot of the line, a wicker basket waits for the rest of the wash. This clothesline poster turns an ordinary gesture into a luminous, soothing scene. The brilliant whites stand out against the green of the grass and the blue of the sky, in an airy vertical composition. The title “LAUNDRY DAY” names this day of washing.

Laundry in the wind for the laundry room or bathroom

Bright and fresh, it hangs naturally in a laundry room, bathroom, pantry or country house. Its whites, greens and blue pair well with light wood, linen, wicker baskets and white walls. Its vertical size fits above a washing machine or next to a drying rack. It can be combined with other posters of domestic scenes. A great gift for a housewarming, for a friend who loves the smell of sun-dried laundry, or for a couple setting up their laundry room.
