about this poster

Oval ball and cleats poster, “OVAL BALL”

No scrum on this rugby poster: a leather oval ball and a pair of cleats simply rest on the grass of the field. In the distance, the goalposts rise under a blue sky, with a small figure standing between them. The title “OVAL BALL” accompanies this sporting still life. The worn brown of the leather echoes the green of the striped lawn, and the calm mood evokes the moment before or after the match, when everything is still to play for.

A sporting still life for an office or bedroom

Its leather browns and lawn greens pair well with an office, bedroom, clubhouse or gym. Horizontal and understated, it hangs nicely above a wooden cabinet, near a shelf of trophies or an old pair of cleats. It goes well with leather, oak and khaki tones. You can pair it with other, more dynamic rugby posters. A ready-made gift for a rugby player, a coach, a fan or a young player at rugby school.
