about this poster

Buenos Aires poster, the obelisk on 9 de Julio Avenue

Planted in the middle of an immense avenue, the white obelisk of Buenos Aires is the fixed point of this poster. Around it stretch the many traffic lanes of 9 de Julio Avenue, lined with blooming jacarandas and buildings that trace the city skyline. The whiteness of the monument stands out against the mauve of the trees and the bustle of the streets. The vertical composition accentuates the height of the obelisk, which soars toward the sky. The title “BUENOS AIRES” accompanies this energetic view of the Argentine capital.

A Buenos Aires poster for the living room or a traveler

Its vertical format and centered composition suit an entryway, a living room, an office or a hallway. The mauve tones of the jacarandas can echo a cushion, a vase or a rug, while the white of the monument brightens a dark wall. It pairs well with wood, leather and metal, and happily joins other big-city posters on a travel wall. It is a lovely gift for an Argentine living in France, a South America enthusiast or friends returning from a stay in Buenos Aires.
