Yellow sailboats in Collioure harbor poster

Collioure poster, yellow sailboats in the Catalan harbor

Sailboats with yellow hulls are moored in the harbor of Collioure, in the foreground of this poster. On the shore, the pink-domed church bell tower and the town’s colorful facades line the water. The yellow of the hulls answers the blue of the Mediterranean and the ochres of the houses, in a vivid light that has long attracted painters. The vertical composition layers the boats, the quay and the town. The “COLLIOURE” lettering accompanies this cheerful, colorful Catalan scene.

A colorful Collioure poster for the kitchen or living room

Its yellows, blues and ochres brighten a kitchen, a dining room, a living room or a studio. The vertical format sits nicely above a sideboard or next to a French door. It pairs well with terracotta, wood, painted ceramics and striped Catalan textiles. Mixed with other posters of Mediterranean harbors, it makes a sunny wall. It will suit an amateur painter, a lover of Collioure and Roussillon, a boater or friends who have their habits on the Côte Vermeille.
